Re: how much does your Patrol weigh?

But I can say that when I go for tyre rotate/change/balancing often the lifts at workshops really struggle and some refuse to lift

Re: how much does your Patrol weigh?
I've never weighed mine, but after reading this thread I'm quite excited to check the figures. The N3 weigh bridge is 3km from home, I'm going to try on the weekend. I have factory front and rear bumpers, full length roof rack and a pretty light weight drawer system. I'll post figures if I get a chance.

And if the readings and your licence disk are in conflict you are basically handing yourself in for prosecution......Rhett wrote: ↑26 Nov 2019 08:33 I've never weighed mine, but after reading this thread I'm quite excited to check the figures. Re: how much does your Patrol weigh?
I don't get the logic of using a station wagon as a base for a every-bell-and-whistle overlander. A full tank of juice and a vetgat in the passenger seat and you're exceeding GVM already. Even a bakkie rolling chassis gets heavy quickly when you start throwing accessories at it. I have bakkies hovering at max GVM with just their "standard" kit (bullbar, winch, rocksliders, canopy, drawers, recovery gear, full tank of juice, two vetgat occupants, etc) and without loading any actual cargo yet

Re: how much does your Patrol weigh?
Had "The Firetruck" on a weighbridge on Friday.
2 600 Kg with full fuel tanks.
Tare of 2 275 Kg is about right if I drain all the fluids and take into account the extras on it.
