Hi Guys
Okay, so after all the inputs re what the preferences are for what items, colour etc, we have done a bit more homework, and are looking at the following items and pricing:

The colour is generally khaki.

CLOTHING (Pictures below)
Mens long sleeve shirt – R 310
Jacket – R535
Sleeveless bush jacket – R290
Sleeveless fleece jacket – R250
Bush hat – R125
Fleece Beanie – R 90
Peak Cap – R98
Ladies short sleeve shirt – R220
Bandana Buffs – R100 (see notes below – min total order qty 100)

Prices include one logo embroidered on each item.

We would need a minimum order quantity of 20 per item to proceed with that item due to the set-up fee.

ORDERING
To make it in time for the River Trip, members orders and payment must be received by 15 July.
Prices exclude any postage or courier costs (ie Pta outwards).
The physical order to the suppliers will need to be done by 17 July to ensure the merchandise arrives prior to leaving for the River Trip…. (although we can’t take responsibility for any delays at the supplier or embroiderer).
Members can either collect from us directly, or we can arrange to take some of it with on the trip.
Please ensure you order the right sizes because once the embroidery is done on the clothing, they cannot be exchanged for smaller or larger sizes.

BANDANA BUFFS
We can get these custom-made with our logo on them but there is a minimum order quantity of 100 units. At R100 each (excl., postage outwards), how many of you would be interested in placing an order? If we want these by the time of the River trip we will need to order by Monday next week.

Hi

Just want to check he sizes :oldtimer:

The given sizes are obviously for men

If I want to order for the wife like say a womens medium , must I rather then go for a small or can we get different sizes ?

Thanks very much for all the efforts and thoughts going into this project . Good work guys :blonde:

Okay, so at least some interest in the suggested range (although I expected more, but probably some guys will first want to see the outcome).

Just to answer one of the questions, the supplier does not manufacture ladies jackets.

Please note that there is a setup cost for the embroidery and in the current shown prices we amortised this in as long as there are at least 20 of each at time of first order. So, if we wait until we have 20 of an item before ordering, the wait might be too long and we will not have the goodies back by time we go on River Trip.

Either we wait for 20 orders for an item, or at the last date we can still get the items back for River Trip, then we order for those items - so there will be a small adjustment in price, say 10-15 rand depending on how many are ordered.
We will put an order sheet on the forum which can be completed and sent directly to Lynne. She will then send you an invoice with bank details, and she will then try place orders in time for the trip.

Only one thing to keep in mind - we have not seen the quality of the clothes or the embroidery, although Tinus has some shirts and swears by them... so risk is low on quality side. We will just all have to take some risk on the embroidery, as obviously Lynne can't take it alone.

Please let us know what your take on the above is?
