I havent had time to play yet, all I can say so far is that they are dead quiet on the tar, my "death wobble" has gone, ok I also replaced a faulty TJM steering damper with an OEM Nissan part just before replacing the tyres... and most noticeable is the pulling to the left hand side of the road which I found seriously annoying and no alignment could sort out, has virtually dissappeared - she runs as straight as an arrow now. All I can say is that they look really cool and did'nt end up costing an arm and a leg. I did manage to spend last Saturday at Hennops for some sport - and was pleasantly surprised, but with the Patrol's awesome ability, I don't think the tyres had too much to do with the ease of getting through all the obstacles!!

Wilfred, I ended up paying R2150.00 plus vat eventually - but that was after a long wait. Fortunately there was no rush on my part and the guys knocked off a little because it took around two and a half months for the tyres to eventually arrive. I do believe that Cooper/Apollo (ex dunlop) SA. are considering bringing them in to SA, if they do, I am sure they will do very well.
Cheers.

Hi Tony
Your Patrol looks great with the Coopers. Was that a special import for you as Dunlop don't import Coopers any more.??
There is a bloke named BRAND that is preparing to import Coopers into SA.

You have just confirmed my suspicion that that a bad steering damper has something to do with the Patrol pulling to the left. I will replace mine soon.

Thanks and congratulations with your new tyres.
