Johnboy, that's pretty much the same size as 33"x12.5"x15", except that the rims are bigger.

There are many people on this forum on 33"'s although not KM2's, including myself, Christo Slang and Bogeyman.

So, they will fit, although ideally you might want rims witha wider offset to ensure that they clear the inner rear wheelarches under full articulation. The 4.8 will certainly pull them, but I don't know what effect they will have on your fuel consumption.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

I got a quote from Autowiel in Montna for 5 x Goodyear WRL MTR (KEY) 285/75/16 Kevler Tyres (5x) @ RR2300 ea before VAT. These are Kevler tyres with 3 Ply side walls. Might be worth the while following up.

Hi John,

I have BFG M/T KM2 305x17 tyres on 4.8 GRX.

Am very happy with all round performance on tar, are obviously noisy but come into their own off road. The amount of grip is superb, I have had the opportunity to work my way through lots of mud on the farm that had other bakkie 4x4's with ATs totally stuck.

I have no clue what the effect is on consumption as they were already fitted on purchase. My GRX has done 22000km and they show no discernable signs of wear.

I have had the old generation BFG MTs on a 110 Defender SW and Kumho MTs on my Defender 110 PU and they did the job, am yet to determine if the KM2 are so much better.

Regards,

Peter
