Is that rear view camera permament when the car is on, or only on reverse?
Hey Alex

Its only on in reverse. but I didn't fit the Camera, it was already installed. You can set it up to go on whenever you want though.
I have the camera and double din system s=that shows the rear when in reverse.
But given that my center mirror has become obsolete (due to interior mods) I think a permanent or optional view from the rear camera while driving forward would be useful.

Personally I think anyone who buys a second hand Patrol that has had any accessory fitted should be sending it to you if they do not know how to do it themselves.
Thank you for expressing such confidence in my work.

I really don't perform wiring miracles. I simply follow basic principles without shortcuts. I try to always get it right. If I made a mistake somewhere I'll fix it.

as far as audio systems go. All of the systems I have worked on (except for Dave Jones' which I built from scratch) had been previously installed and tuned so that they were not operating at their potential. Again, I simply follow basic principles and perform phase tests on every speaker. There is some tuning skill involved once its all wired correctly. and for really fancy stuff I'll break out my measurement microphone and programs to help.

Very easy. Wire a switch into the wire that goes to the "whatever activates the camera in reverse" and give it a power source. That way it always works in reverse or if you switch it on.

Have seen your work on Michael's Patrol and I like the KISS principle together with good quality workmanship.

Installs done very professional and neat.

Still a few things to be done after my Kruger trip, so the Trol will return for some more TLC.

The sound is now Way Way better and that was done with no new or additional hardware. Awsome!!
So Kruger trip done, and planning on Bots trip for AUG ongoing meant there is a few days where the Troll is not required so it is back to Anthony for some more TLC and "stuff" to be done :woo:

Waiting in anticipation for the new update and pics from the newest Troll whisperer :oldtimer:
