Ek doen tans voorkomende onderhoud op my "99 4.5 GRX Patrol.

1. Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning
Make sure that the accelerator pedal is fully released.
• Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 secs.
• Turn ignition switch OFF wait at least 10 secs.
• Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 secs.
• Turn ignition switch OFF wait at least 10 secs.

2. Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning
Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released.
• Turn ignition switch ON.
• Turn ignition switch OFF wait at least 10 secs.
NB: Make sure that the throttle valve moves during above 10 secs by confirming the operating sound.

3. Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)
NB: Perform previous two procedures 1st!
• Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
• Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 secs.
• Conform that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 secs.
• Repeat the following procedures quickly five times within 5 secs:
• Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD)
• Fully release the accelerator pedal.
• Wait 7 sec, fully depress accelerator pedal and keep it in for approx. 20 secs until the Check Engine Light (CEL) stops blinking & stays ON.
• Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 secs after the CEL is ON.
• Start engine and let it idle.
• Wait 20 secs, then rev up the engine two or three times and make sure the idle speed and ignition timing are within the specifications.
