I also have no clue. I pulle the plug off under the fender when my aerial kicked the bucket. Fitted a bee-sting type in its place. works brilliantly.

Blew mine a while ago.

It is one of the fuses under the dash on the driver's side. Know it took me a while to find it as it was not marked "power aerial" or suchlike. Using a test light is quickest.

To Cedric:

What is a Bee-Sting ?

Is it one of those short ~ 30cm thin steel rods ?

[quote="mattk"]It is going to Graham to be sorted, as it is a rather odd issue: when I switch on the ignition, the aerial will go up halfway, then have to press the 'extend' button. If I press the 'retract' button, it will retract halfway. I have to switch the ignition off to get it in completely. Obviously, this is a no-no in the bush.[

I think it is supposed to work like that. It only goes down completely when you switch off the radio or the ignition.
