Battery went flat, now left side doors not opening
I stupidly left the interior lights on...for a week or so.
Since then I fully charged my battery and all is well except I noticed when it was flat the I couldn't open the front left. With the battery fully charged I noticed it's actually both the front left and back left doors. The central locking works fine on the right side but makes no dif on the left.
I rather strongly managed to open both left doors today using the key and one hand inside on the silver lock, there's a big amount of resistance. But it worked. Now with both doors open how do I fix? I removed battery for about 60 mins and reconnected. Nothing.
I can feel resistance on both silver locks that return them to the locked position. To open I held them "unlocked" enough to use the handle.
Please help

You can follow the door lock procedure in the manual to get it fixed.

Surely if it were programming then with the battery disconnected ie no power, they should unlock?Tinus lotz wrote:Go see graham ....programming
With no battery they are still stuck shut and takes excessive force to hold in unlocked position to be able to use the door handle. They are basically jammed in the locked position?
I don't have a manualHerrie wrote:You can follow the door lock procedure in the manual to get it fixed.
Gonna try your suggestion aswell Wilkie

K tried the key hold thing. Nothing.
The left side doors silver knob doesn't even make the slightest movement when using central locking. It's like they stuck half open / half closed. It's like I need a surge of sorts to reset them. Fuse?

don't try and force the locks open and close, its definitely a safety thing that has kicked in when battery went dead, rather take it in and have the computer reset, but is not the locks .
