Never been lost Dude, have 276C anyway.
Going to try this HandyMap G12 as it runs on WinCe and can run T4A.

Re: GPS/RADIO REPLACEMENT
Wheels, the one I got from Gman, came with no software for the GPS. I have garmap but cannot load it on. Do you think you could copy the disk and send it to me?
Re: GPS/RADIO REPLACEMENT
Yes I can do that for you. I would assume that yours is also working from a SDcard. You would need to regen the key for the Garmin software on your unit. I use IGO more than Garmin. If you have a place where I can ftp the software to let me know.

Thanks for that wheels. I do not have an ftp site, but could possibly set one up in the new year when I get back to Cape Town. I will send you a pm when I am back.

Re: GPS/RADIO REPLACEMENT
Hallo
I am rehashing a very old thread.
I went from the first to the last page but just could not get the answer I am looking for.
I have got a 2001 Patrol GRX with the center dash trim containing two single din slots separated by a plastic bar in the middle.
I know you also get this trim unit which has got one big hole to accommodate a double din radio unit.
I would like to fit such a double din Radio/GPS unit, meaning that I will have to cut out the center bar.
Has anyone done this and will a double din unit fit nicely without having gaps etc. ?
Pictures ?
I just don't want to cut/ ruin the trim piece just to find out that the double Din Radio unit does not fit properly.
Regards
Henning

Re: GPS/RADIO REPLACEMENT
Hi Picasso
Rather than taking the risk of cutting the double din Radio/GPS unit, you could also contact Dawid Volschenk, who is likely to have the right spare for you.
Next time he is doing the rounds in Pretoria he coudl bring it aong and you can first see if it fits.
Dawid: oh, eight, three, 499, one 5 double 8.

Re: GPS/RADIO REPLACEMENT
Thanks Alex
I will give Dawid a call.
However, I must also say that I fetched my car about an hour ago from Graham (service at G tech) and I had a look at his double din GPS unit. He faced the same issue. He made the unit fit by carefully cutting of the piece in the middle. Effectively the hole was now slightly bigger in height than the required double din size. He then used the cut off and glued it at the bottom which eliminated the gap. Fit and finish looked quite good. So…. I will give Dawid a call and see if he has the right spare available. If not then I will consider going the route which Graham took.
(Thanks to Graham too  )
Best Regards
