Sticky Speedometer (VDO specialist needed)

Hi Guys

I've had this problem or a while and it is time to fix it. Graham Cummings in Centurion can help, but only operates in the week and so do I. so I cannot drive through to him.
My Patrol's speedomoeter is stuck after I had a light bulb replaced, behind the dash.
I do not want to take it back to the same place as I suspect they worked a little rough with my car - hence the problem. They deny causing it anyway and it is not worth fighting with them.

I am convinced it is the speed needle that is a little sticky and not a gear problem. I.e. the odometer clocks fine, and all the other readings (rev counter etc. works fine).

Any idea where in the West side of Jhb (Randburg area) I can take it?
E.g. a VDO specialist?

Thanks

Jare terug het alle Volksies ook VDO's gehad en as die naald by die VDO uitgekom het, het dit beteken - Volksie Donner Om! :rolling:

Years ago, I used these guys: http://www.sayellow.com/@2?wr=10&Cli_Re ... er=348,919

Obviously, I can't comment on their level of service now, as that was 15 years ago.
