odo/trip meter and clock light

Post by jonathan »

Hi guys

I've just about finished with my upholstery mission, but now I've become sidetracked with the odo and clock light that doesn't come on when the light are switched on. I assume that it must be two different lamps or bulbs and because both are dead I assume it is a fuse somewhere. I've checked all the fuses inside the vehicle and they're all fine. The ones under the bonnet is just too confusing? Some are missing and some have higher or lower amp fuses in than it says on the cover. Some of the empty slots could be for something that isn't standard on my model (mine is the GL), but for instance there is one that says Head Light Left and one for Right but when I remove it they still work? Am I missing something? Unfortunately I am obsessive about things that don't work like they should so it is freaking me out!

Any ideas if it is actually a fuse or should I try and replace the lamps? I would definitely prefer the former!

Thanks!
Jonathan

Dankie oomie. Ek haat elektriese probleme. Gee my eerder 'n stuk yster met 'n gat in as 'n blerrie spook in die drade! Ek verkies verseker eerder die ratchet bo die multimeter
