Radius Arm bushes

Post by Russ Kellermann »

Hizit boys,

Starting to get the odd clunk sound emanating from what i believe to be the front radius arm bushes (on the axle end). a small amount of play, possibly starting to collapse from 300 000km of work.

I asked Nissan to quote me .... R4000.00 for the 4 bushes

I asked Toyota to quote me (as they use the same bushes)... even worse, they only sell entire front radius arm assembly .. ie: R13 000.00

Im about to ask Gemini to quote me on the Toyota " OEM" rubber bushes, as i believe they can supply.

So..

1)has anyone recently replaced theirs ?
2)Where did they acquire the bushes from?
3)How difficult was it to pull the arms out, and what method did they find best to do this? .. there are various ways i know, looking for real-world answer.

They have rubber non-corrected bushes.

Just contacg Marinus, his service is excellent.

I replaced mine 4 years ago. I have an 8" Record bench vice. No way it would shift those bushes. I had to go stick them in the hydraulic press at work.

Hi Russ

We do supply these bushes for a standard height vehicle. It is the TSBK0001 kit as in the link.

The bushes are from a synthetic rubber and outlast any bush in the market, Poly or rubber.

Please contact me at sales@terrainparts.co.za if you need more information.
