Did you get sorted with rotors and pads?
What did you use eventually?

Re: Terrain Tamer brake discs (rotors) on the Iron Maiden
I’m trying to build up the courage to do this on mine now.
I’ve got the terrain tamer stuff staring at me from the workbench now.
I can’t find any YouTube how to’s which is weird, but between some videos on removal of bearings, and this thread, I might manage.
There’s been mention on another forums that locktite must be used, but they don’t say on what?
Did you use locktite on anything?
Thanks!

Re: Terrain Tamer brake discs (rotors) on the Iron Maiden
When you remove the locking hub you'll see a retaining plate (giant washer) with two retaining screws holding the outer bearing in place. My screws came loose so I used loktite on them. While you are about it try get replacement screws. Those philips head screws strip so easily.
I'm writing this on an ancient obsolete tablet now so unfortunately can't post photos or a link to where I previously posted info about it.
Oh ja, that reminds me. You'll need the special tool to tighten/loosen the outer bearing. Make sure to get one before starting the job. I imported mine from Australia. Took a week to get here

Peter Connan makes the bearing tool. He's in Kempton Park. He might have one in stock for you.

Thanks bruce, I saw that now.
I have a full suspension kit that needs to go in as well, I’m starting to think maybe I must get a pro to just do the whole bang shoot at once

Great. Thanks Peter, I’ll let you know if I change my mind.
Ah, that 7 is gone. It wasn’t a great example, wasn’t very nice to drive

Sorry to hear that Graham
Still miss mine. But honestly, I miss the Europa much more. What a fabulous-handling car that was!
