The Bigger The Better Trailing arms
Almost a year ago I bent a rear Trailing arm on my GQ at Moegatle, trying to follow a pipe car on 37"
I borrowed Oom Alex Fullard's shed and found some old pipes that fit together perfectly and fixed it just to get home...8 months later I have done 3 provinces, River trip and a trip to the Transkei towing 3 tonnes and it it still holding, luckily.
Finally got around to having some new and stronger arms made and putting some nice new terrain tamer bushes in and hopefully sorting out some wobbles as well.
It is R2200 per set if anyone would also like to correct probably the weakest point on a Patrol.
It is made out of 43 mm Outer Diameter Pipe with a 4mm wall thickness.

Re: The Bigger The Better Trailing arms

Re: The Bigger The Better Trailing arms
Alex se shorty sn het gesnap by Hennops
As iemand sou belang stel sal ek gerus die man se besonderhede aan stuur, hy is in Silverton.

Re: The Bigger The Better Trailing arms
If these fit the 4.5 GRX then I am definitely in for set. (Complete with bushes)
I think the extra power will require an upgrade.

May the road be long.. and dirty.

Re: The Bigger The Better Trailing arms
