I am bussy with a Safari rebuild and want to overhaul the complete steering. No luck for new ones at our local spares shop. Any idea where to found new parts or do anybody have experience whith re new it refurbishment. What i can understand is that they pump in some sort of polymer that take up the wear.

Please advice and if it is worth it who do you recoment?

Thread revive time...

Where do we get steering parts for a 1980-83 Safari bakkie. I have the C200 diff under the Sani, and my tie rod ball joints look bad. The rubbers are all perished, although I can't feel any play on the ball joints. But I am moving to a very sandy and dusty environment where I will be negotiating heavy sand daily. And need to replace these soonest.

Autozone and the usual suspects can't help me. Non of their catalogues go back that far, and I don't want to get into fabbing some special steering setup right now.
