The sub tank is full, the main tank about half.
There is just a toolbox in the back, so not too much weight.
The car is not lifted at all, it is standard.

So you‘d say I only have to deal with the different heights in the front?
That would be good news.

Don't worry about the 5 mm difference in front. Sub tank is on RHS so you might find them equal once it is empty.

The back are not bad but you will be looking at replacement in the forseeable future. Speak to Graham (Pathmaker) when he is back next week. When I last looked he had a lot of almost new standard coils lying around.

Ok, I just went to the workshop and we had the coils out.
It was quite obvious and easy to see: the right coil was just a tiny bit longer than the left one, so they were installed the correct way.
But you could also easily see that on the top at the very beginning of the coil the right one was shrunk, the distance to the layer below was visibly smaller.

So my right coil is done and needs to be replaced which makes me replace at least both front coils.

If you want coil springs try a brand call Pedder suspensions
they import the goods from Australia
they are close to the rivonia off ramp
Bought shocks from them at a reasonable price
for a two inch lift so far so good, ride is nice
my ome shocks were karput , only time will tell
There shocks are in all the Avis safari vehicles
and there springs and shocks get hammered

I got the terrain tamers in now (thanks to Marinus for the super fast delivery).
What shall I say? It now drives like a different car. Turns are now much more direct and tight. The car is even more stable at high speeds on tar.
And dust road driving now is like being on tar - unbelievably relaxed.
I cannot say how much of that change happened because the old coils were just done.
But to me the terrain tamer are a definite recommendation.

The drivers weight and the curve on the road is thus compansated.

Ek verstaan die bestuurde se gewig, maar nie kurwe van die pad argument nie.
Verduidelik asb hoe dit werk.

Dit is hoekom ek vra. Die regter coils is langer as die linker coils. Verstaan nie?
