I have an opportunity to fit an Ironman suspension upgrade (load - with foam shocks) at pretty much cost.

What are "die kenners" opionion of IronMan Suspension and similar ?

I fitted my set 80 000 odd km's ago and have had absolutely no problems so far. They initially fitted the load (heavy duty) coils, but I found them too hard, and had them replaced with the comfort coil and a set of gas shocks and they work for me - both on and offroad, the ride is superb!

Previously discussed. Remember to get the sway bar extension brackets if this is a 50 mm lift. You may need the to get the OME ones.

Upgrade done yesterday, and I gained about 60mm in terms of lift. The distance from the bottom of the rim until the bumper is now 820mm... Truck feels huge. :)

Ride is a little harder (I was expecting this) but fantastic.

A few photographs (as per Tinus request). They're not very good, as the Trol is currently in the garage.

The 'trol as she stands now.

Now you can bring your TYRE PRESSURE down to 2-bar for normal dayly drives. 2,2 For 4 - 5 peoplele & medium load. 2,5 or 2,6 for fully loaded within legal para.
Then you ride soft again  :oldtimer:
