On viewing all of the Voetspore series once thing stands out - leaf springs can and will break - most obvious in their trip with 70 Land Cruisers - also happended with Patrol Pick up..

Cheers,

Peter
Voetspore do not use the standard leaf springs and that is proof that you must not put that make leaf springs on your vehicle! :oldtimer:

I still got my standard leaf springs on my Safari and it is still in a good condition and I had heavy loads on it and did 2007 Bridgestone Fundi Challenge (10 events), AAWDC 4x4 events and even Lesotho, Mosambique and Swaziland 4x4 trips.

I'm still happy with my Safari :oldtimer:

Lobo has 1,300,000 km ++ on original leafs -- it has been re-tensioned 3 times since I have them --
I sort of MUST replace them -- but I don't have the faintest what with .
Was hoping some cowboy with a 4,2 bakkie will put some make of Australian blades on so I can inherit the real deal blades for old Lobo
