Good morning, all. My car is starting to act like a vacuum cleaner on dirt roads. Getting quite a bit of dust in the back. Any recommendations on where to source some new door rubbers for a 2000 Patrol?

The door rubbers are relatively generic. You can buy rubbers that work from various places.

The supplier I deal with normally for door rubbers and trim beading is Pro Auto Rubber. 328 Rebecca Street, Pretoria. 0123272757

You can also fit a 2mm × 20mm self adhesive foam weather strip all the way around the door jam.

This helps alot!

Its a pretty cheap fix

Ian, do they have that funny shaped rubber on the top of the door opening or do you think that is a agents only part

Cedric - which funny rubber thing ? Which door ?

The driver's and passenger doors use generic rubber seals, as far as I know.

Cedric - Thanks. I think that might be OEM only. But will have a look when I go past there again.
