Good scratch/chip removal place in Cpt?

Hi all
Find myself in a frustrating situation where I have all the rust and scratch/dent removal kit to diy, but just won't have time to remove chips and scratches (some with minor surface rust) as I go abroad on Thursday and return Dec. Leaving the minor rust is not an option at the coast. Can anyone recommend a place in the Cpt area who does good work and won't charge absurd panel beater rates?

Off the topic.....Something I noticed by chance today was that the gutters which go down the front pillars had a bunch of gunk stuck in them. It was not visible as the gutters are covered with a thin rubber "lip". I tried to clear it with a soft plastic scraper, running the scraper top down, but it just wouldn't get clean. Then I realised there were some round seeds stuck halfway down the pillar, causing a buildup of other crap. Had to spray a high pressure hose upwards from the "mouth" of the gutter to get all the gunk out (heaps of it). My previous Patrol didn't have the rubber covering the gutters, so this kind of thing would be picked up easily, but with this rubber strip and the build up of gunk, it's probably a recipe for rust in wetter areas.

Hi Donnie

I've been going through the same exercise and have been advised to use DENTS 'N ALL in Montague Gardens. They are very thorough and professional, but their quote has still left me shell shocked. They phoned a week later to say they could negotiate, but I'll still have to save a lot more  But Then again, my body work needs a lot of TLC.

Will appreciate if you share with us your experience if you come right.

Thank you
John

Thanks for the reply John Boy. Jip, that's exactly why I posted the question....absurd quotes. No doubt most of these places do decent work, however their cost vs diy cost is just way off. One can pick up a dent remover for minor dents for under R500, electric polisher/buffer plus good compounds for under R1K, rust remover/primer for a few 100 and a small glass container of paint from a body shop...should be free. Just need 2 days without interruptions and therein lies the challenge

John Boy, it's possible, however I only went to the hardware shop yesterday....no more stopping at lapa or hart for a few as my beer budget goes into the tank now:)
