I am actually now reconsidering or rethinking my theory about the coil springs, as the sound was defnately always coning from the left, but today i heard it on the right.
So i am starting to think that it might be bushes....
P.S. Nmad, the Patrol pickup got rear leaf springs.

Check the rubber spacers/bushing on the top off the coil springs,they wear and now its metal on metal

Ek dink daaraan om my bakkie volgende jaar te vat, om al die bushes ens na te gaan. Jy kan al die busher ruil behalwe die radius arm bushes waar dit aan die diff vas maak sonder dat dit jou suspension upgrade gaan beinvloed. Dis net daai caster correction bushes wat jy gaan moet verander na n suspension lift.
