Body Shop Recomendation

Post by hugejp »

Hi all,

Can anybody recommend a good body shop?

It would be awesome if they were in the JHB area, but not a deal breaker if they are bit further out.

I need some small touch ups & some rust spot removal

Regards

JP

Hi JP.

I can recommend Modern collution repair in Trichardt. They are factory aproved by almost all. Including mercedes. I know that they receive cars from all over the country. They fixed 2 cars of ine before. Great workmanship. Lifetime paint warranty. 0176380060

I have asked around at a few panel shops & it really does jump around a bit, anything from R15k - R35k!?

That was for a respray of the "same colour" if you want a complete "colour change" the quotes went up... R20k -R50k!?

At the end of the day you need to shop around & see examples of their work & if possible get a list of satisfied customers to follow up on.

Also, a neat & organised, well run shop is where you want to be, you don't want half your parts missing or needing to be replaced.

Nearly all the guys I asked were happy to give me a list, the ones that didn't... well IMHO they must have something to hide.
