Just an update...

I am still awaiting a final price, this is due to the recent rand/dollar fluctuations & the uncertainty of customs duties.

This was due to be worked out last week, but a delay at customs on another order is hanging us up as the quotes on this order was to be the measure upon which our quote was to be finalised.

I will revert as soon as I hear anything...

We have some good news gentlemen...

Kut Snake have appointed a new ZA agent - Jacques Brits & he is very happy to help the forum directly & he would like to become a forum preferred supplier.

He has committed to giving forum members the same "wholesale" price as the 4x4 retailers like Megaworld & LA Sport would get before their mark-up.

He has just cleared 4 sets of Cruiser flares at customs which came in via Air-Freight & the oke barely broke even on the deal, so from now on he is only bringing in bulk shipments by sea, this has a 6week turn around, but reduces costs.

He will also not be asking for money upfront, he will be bringing in stock & we will only pay him for our individual orders as required (at that stage the goods will already be in the country).

The price we have been given is R9200 per full set

This a pretty good deal considering that Derek Paid R8400 for 2 pairs(4 front flares) months back when the Rand was stronger against the Dollar & this was direct from the factory.

He also has a local courier that can deliver to your door for R390, but if we double/triple up to on this courier to a central collection point we can share the cost over multiple sets or just collect directly or arrange our own courier solution.

The next order will be placed next Thursday the 13th of Sept, this will be a container shipment(6weeks turn around) so we need to get our orders in to him by Tuesday the 11th of Sept.

This is the list so far of committed members-
1. JP - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X2
2. Stefan - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X1
3. Peter (Nisjeep) - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X1
4. Danie Scholtz - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X1
5. Errol (Wilkie) - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X1
6. Marinus - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X1
7. Reme Ryke - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X1
8. G-Man - GU Wagon (Series 1, 2, 3) 75mm full set X2

So at this stage we are sitting on 10 sets

If you would like to be included in this order run please add your order to the above list ASAP & those already listed please confirm for order details above are correct.

Cheers

JP
