Sunroof Deflector Plate

Post by Clem »

Guys, what's with the plate that pops up at the front when you open the sunroof on the GRX? It makes one heck of a wind-rush noise but if you hold it down everything is almost totally silent.

Its like a wind deflector type thing. Black and about a 1.5" wide. Pops up when you open the roof and folds back down when you close it. Probably to keep the bugs and buzzards out the car ?

Mostly pulling yer leg there Clem -- I know what you refer to. Really, Agarob [2001 GRX Diesel does not have one -- maybe first owner took it of .. OR only came with later models. ?]

Have a look-see [net wanner die kar stilstaan, nê ?!?!?!
Maybe something is just not tightened proper - OR not straight ?? If you posh it UP on the move - does it go quiet? mabye the 'spring' lifting it is "moeg" ??
