Aerial

Post by Stefan »

I have a short little stubby arial inplace of the electric one which has come loose. How do I get to it to tighten the "bottom" nut?

Stefan,

John

What did you replace your original aerial with?
- replacement Nissan original or
- aftermarket eletric aerial or
- standard long whip or
- short whip like Stefan?

My plastic "spine" inside the electric aerial has broken, so now the damn thing only extends about 2 section, yet it retracts fully. Very frustrating!
I would like to replace with another electric aerial, but preferably not at Nissan stealer prices. Any suggestions?
Where to look and more or less what to pay? I am not in this game and have no contacts. So any help appreciated!!!

Thanks
Herbie

Hallo Herbie

man, I snapped the aerial 2 weeks after taking delivery - Schus actually replaced it free of charge. Then a few months later it happened again in AD. I then replaced it with a Midas long, whip aerial and cable-tied it, near the top, to the snorkel.
