LSD diff
IS it possible to change the internals from a diff lock unit to a LSD unit on a GU H260?
These days an LSD will serve me much better than the normal diff lock.

Re: LSD diff
The carburetor TB45 wagon has an LSD in the back. So I am sure the internals will fit, but I don't know of its a simple plug and play install.

Re: LSD diff
Carby TB45's were neversold here.
I do believe that most TD42 wagons had LSD but I i'm not sure if they had H260's or H233's

Re: LSD diff
Do all H260's take the same center portion?
The H260 I have, I believe is the HD version, 4.88 gears, right drop with LSD. Came from a 1980-83 Safari bakkie.

Re: LSD diff
Tinus, where can I find out what bearings I need to overhawl this diff of mine. The guys on the west coast take six weeks to do a job, and I cant be without my rig for that long. So I want to buy in the spares to try speed up the process.Tinus lotz wrote:Andries that is out a safari not the same as gu
