What Maintenance for Hubs??

Hi Guys - anyone know what maintenance/servicing can done to the front hubs... they seem a bit rough now and as vehicle is 12 years old I'm thinking they need a good clean and lube.
Once during the desert trip when they were under a lot of load I heard a loud couple of clicks from the front left hub as though spine was slipping or..??
Any ideas and advice most welcome.

I pulled mine apart a few years back and cleaned everything out. It took a few very strong words to get them back together again, due to me not being diligent enough to check 100% how everything came apart, but then simply repacked them with grease and refitted them. The second one was easier due to previous use of long descriptive words and also checking exactly how I took it apart. A bit messy on the hands, but I always have a box of Latex ( not Nitril ) surgical gloves in the garage for those dirty little jobs.

Chris..... I think I just got caught with my pants down.... I was looking to see if i could find the pics I took of when I did it, and I cannot find them for some reason, but now I'm doubting myself if they were the Patrols Auto hubs or the SANI manual hubs. I really cannot remember exactly. Having said that, The principals will be the same I would think. Whatever comes out must go back in the exact same sequence.

I think Michael did a write-up a little while back on servicing the Auto hubs. I"ll see if I can find it.

Looking at the pics on that post makes me think that I did clean and repack my Auto hubs way back
