Ek sou tempted wees om daai clutch nog terug te sit.
Dit moet dan iets met die Flywheel/pressure plate/clutch plate kombinasie wees.
Is dit 'n Nissan / Toyota mix bread?
Daai plaat het verseker in normale omstandighede nog baie lewe oor.
Net my persoonlike mening.

Die pressure plate in die foto het ge-"collapse". Ek weet nie hoe die pressurre plate andersins sou gelyk het as hy nie ge-"collapse" het nie. Hy het ook niks anders vevang as die pressure plate, clutch plate en release bearing nie?!
Ek verstaan van beide die oorpsonklike ombouer en van Toyo service, the clutch is (en vorige een was) Nissan, vir die 4.5 Patrol

Dit.maak sin dat die pressure plaat kan collapse as hy nat word. Maak seker al die proppe en bellows is reg, daar moenie eintlik water en gemors daar kan inkom nie.

Buiten water en gemors,..Wat van net 'n verandering in temperatuur?
Ek skat temp sal seker nie so vinnig verander as dit buite bly nie?

Tensy jy die clutch gly, behoort hy nooit besonder warm te word nie.
Die hitte kom van die enjin en ratkas, so nie veel meer as 120 grade nie. En daar binne behoort hy redelik goed beskerm te wees.
Ek sou dink selfs al word hy nat behoort die tipe probleem die uitondering eerder as die reel te wees.
