Re: Clutch pedal not lifting
I am not 100% sure if I got the same problem but maybe you can tell me:
yesterday in KNP after about 140km the clutch pedal wouldn't lift by itself as in this thread. I could pull it with my foot. In addition (but I'm also not 100% sure) I had the impression that the clutch would only open with the pedal very far down, farer than usually.
We had a break at Satara and after that the clutch was absolutely normal again.
Then again after some time the clutch did the same thing.
And again after some 'rest' the clutch was normal.
What am I searching for to sort that?

Re: Clutch pedal not lifting
I'm not very clued up on this subject, but I would assume that the fluid in the clutch system is old and may possibly picked up some moisture over the years maybe causing the water to boil within the brake/clutch fluid, this may intern cause an air pocket or something like that. I would drain the old fluid and replace with fresh dot ? brake fluid.
Regards
Cedric

Re: Clutch pedal not lifting
I had the same problem on my previous 4.5. If I lifted the pedal back by hand then it was fiine for a wile, unti it worked hard again. It was the master cylinder diapram that broke and did not let the oil return.
