2014 30CRD - CAT/DPF Where ?

Post by Dungbeetle »

Many parts diagrams and lists of the South African Model 2014 CRD refer to the vertical exhaust pipe portion pipe just after the Turbo as the Three Way Catalytic Converter ???

I see no sensor before/after

1 - What is really inside that dump pipe ?
2 - Where is the DPF located ?

Part number : B08A0VS60A .....

Note that the front section of the Exhaust is listed as part " 200B0VV30A TUBE-EXHAUST,FRONT WITHOUT CAT CONVERTER"

There is nothing further on the exhaust that resembles a DPF ????

Hi, it sit in the down pipe. See the thread below. It can be removed. Doesn't cause any errors or issues. No sensors either.

I eventually got confirmation of that. My next question is if the downpipe of the Di is the same as the CRD one?
