Bmw m57 conversion
Hi
New to Patrol 4x4
Planning on fitting a m57n2 bmw 3.0d engine on a 2005 manual 3.0di suv.
Any advise is most welcome.

Yeah....Keep us posted on how it goes. i believe that that BMW motor is plenty powerful to push that Patrol around.

I drive a M57 and my wife has the N57 they are amazing.
The power characteristics and torque are fantastic. Fuel economy is outstanding. M57 530d open road is 6.8 l/100km N57 330d 5.6l/100km. Plus what I love about them is they are 6 cylinders so relatively smooth for a diesel.

best 6cyl diesel engine ever ..also have a X5 and that engine is very responsive and not thirsty
