Good evening,
I have had problems with the fuel cut off solenoid on a normally aspirated TD42, its now the third one in 3 months.
I have removed it and removed the little plunger bit now the car does not want to rev up!
Is it because of the plunger or something else?
Its a massive issue to get the solenoid out and it leaves the car stranded in the most akward places, is it possible to install a remote cut off thats easier accesible.

Re: TD42 Solenoid
You get the type that they use as an anti-theft unit/device. Have one of those fitted (will possibly come with a 1 year warrantee as well) and chuck out the original. Have them fit the new one in a more convenient location.
