Maybe a little diesel pump timing, and a little bit more fuel and it will chugga chugga like a 4.2 six cylinder again...

Feels a bid stiff but that is most likely how it should be for new engine.
I do think that it is on the lean side, as EGT's is not getting higher than 410deg C 3rd gear flat out 3000rpm uphill, level road so far 5th 120km/hr 350-360deg C EGT.
