Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi

I did a search on the forum and can't find much info on what engine oil to use in my 2003 4.8 grx.

Please advise.

up to year model 2003: 10W30, 10W40, 10W50
Models from year 2004: 5W30
2014 Model: 10W30

You can also use the Nissan oil viscosity temp chart to choose what oil you use in the owners manual if the above oils are not available.

I use 5W30 or 10W30 for a 2007 Model

Liqui Moly is a german oil who stock those oil viscosities..... I highly recommend them.
Shell HX8 (previously known as Ultra) and Castrol Magnatec are also excellent
