So
just heard from the engineering shop.

Since 3 of the 4 cylinders cracked more or less on the same line, and horizontally, they think the block has cracked.
What is your opinion?
I can get a zd30 motor, but it comes from a Hardbody, what will it entitle to fit that to my Patrol and the auto box?

Damn that is sorry to hear.

As far as I know the HB zd30 is a low compression and the Patrol zd30 is high compression, thus not the same motor.

Anybody have a ZD30 lying around, or perhaps a block that is still good?
