Thanks Cedric, its hard work but it will be worth it when all is done

Tinus, ek het sommer na die Automotive verf plek hier naby my gaan n liter 2k satin black verf koop. Dit verf vreeslik maklik en word vining droog.
Ek het sommer die groen van die Patrol ook laat meng en gaan die engine bay ook nou aan pak om wees mooi groen te kry.

Ek het ook bietjie werk aan die cylinder head gedoen om maar so bietjie aan te help met die kraglewering. Ek het die intake gedeelte van die head ge match met die intake manifold gasket en dan match ek weer die intake manifold met die gasket om die head en manifold 100% met mekaar te match.

onder die valves het dit ook nie baie mooi gelyk nie toe maak ek dit ook net so effens beter. het my n hele Saterdag en Sondag gevat om die head te doen

Try these guys for the stainless shim stock. I can't recall if they were the guys I used.

Its a swine to cut but with a little patience and a compass with a VERY sharp point made it i lot easier to cut the rings out and keep them flat. Starting with the outer diameter first and then the inside diameter. I think the width of the ring I made was 4mm.

Hier is hoe die engine gelyk het toe ek hom uit die Patrol uitgehaal het. Hy het baie sad gelyk om die minste te se.

Hier is hoe ver ek op die oomblik is. Ek moet nog net die head klaar maak dan kan ek die engine in sit!! :blonde:
