Turbo not boosting on 2006 30l diesel

Post by SCUBA Patrol »

Hi Guys,

Some of you might know me from the Nissan 4x4 forum.

My Patrol has been with SAC in PE for the last 3 weeks and they can not fined the problem with my Trollie!

They have changed the air mass sensor, boost sensor, and the variable boost valve. After this only did they trace wires that showed no problem. The only solution is they say, is to replace the EMC (ECU). Now the exercise has cots me well over R20 000.00 already and I still have a Patrol not boosting.

When you bypass the variable boost valve, the actuator on the turbo works, and the enjin runs like crazy. This is not a good situation as boost is maximum and my feeling is that it will damage the enjin.

Is there anyone that can help me test the EMC (ECU) or with anything els I can look for that might cause the problem!

I'm down in PE.

Hope to here from you!!!

Phillip

Phillip

apparently the SAC chaps in Centurion really know there stuff. Why don't they just send it up there, or better yet, fly one of their macs down? This is supposed to be the advantage of using a franchise.

QQQ Die turbo werk weer, moes 'n nuwe ECU koop en laat insit, Nissan moet die sleutels programeer daar op en nou ry die Patrol weer soos hy moet, Lekkerrrrrr :blonde:

Hi Phillip,

Like to confirm that the guys at SAC Centurion are the best. Call 012 621 9060 and ask for Mynaard. He has had my Troll their for two days on a major service and it is running better than ever.

Regards

Grant
