Ok we need to understand there are two tipes of dinos .
One that are set up to compensate for everything and give you flywheel power like what the factory gives in their manual . Or the one that measure wheel power without any allowance for anything just power on rear wheels. There is normally about 30 to 35% difference in the two. The first can get lots better by putting a bit extra temp ,moisture in air and so on . We see it on the 4.2 bakkies al the time 50kw and 220nm before ,and it then goes to about 100 to 90kw and 370 to 400nm on the wheels .
Me rhink its time for a dino day again ....😬

Dear All,

thanks for all your inputs and perspectives.

When i bought the car I decided to modify it only if I'm convinced I really need it. So far, I've not yet reached that point. Yes, it's slow like a tractor but i like that, I'm an agric engineer and mostly very patient man.

It would be wonderful to join you for some of the outings and get to meet you.

BTW, we've been at B'sorah over the weekend and absolutely loved the bush camp there. Great place to get away from the city in a flash, even with a 42TD N/A.

Best, Klaus

PS: When i'm on a hill now, i put on "As time goes by" (The Rolling Stones). So, no problem.
