I also stopped in at Peter to pick up a custom baseplate he made up for me. As always Peter delivered another top quality baseplate that fits perfectly, will hold up well and looks good. Thanks Peter.
Test fit yesterday so off to get it painted. Some before and after pics below

As you can see from the missing paint on the lower bashplate I dont think I'm using the rite stuff
a local workshop does the painting for me so not sure what they using. But I touch it up with a rattle can spray paint

It sits right above the turbo & draws hot air out, the louvres are also functional.

Even without the turbo I find it is very hot under the bonnet so I do think that will be very helpful.
