With the amount of vehicles having long range tanks out there it cant be all bad?

I have the one from Northern off-road, and yes I know it had a problem when newly fitted, they fixed it and it has been 5years+ with no problems, so maybe they have also learned and fixed their problems?

I hate jerry cans, did 1 trip with 2 and that was enough to put me off.

Wonder if I can fit a second GU tank underneath? will have to route the exhaust and don't know if there is space for that.

Currently have 120L main - northern offroad and 40L sub from a GU

I got an update today that there has been a delay in the arrival of the container in JHB. It will only arrive tomorrow and then the tanks is will hopefully arrive in CPT sometime this coming week.😫

I see Andrew St Pierre White is using Browne Davis tanks on his new 79 Land Cruiser Project. See YouTube

So I finally dropped the Troll off at R&D for the tanks to be fitted. 2 week delay due to shipping was unexpected, but it is what it is. The tanks are due to arrive tomorrow and the vehicle is already on the hoist ready for fitment.

Fitment almost complete. Should be able to collect this afternoon. R&D said they are a tight fit.

Good question Tinus. I'll take a look tomorrow afternoon when I get back home and see exactly how that profile fits up against the vehicle and gauge whether there could be an issue with a build up of sand. Browne Davis have been building these tanks for Patrols for a long time so there must be a good reason for that profile existing around the pump.
