Thanks for all the replies.
I think this tread is quite helpful.
I will be doing my exhaust this week and will post the pics on this tread to make it more helpful to others.
I will be going straight pipe, from turbo to tail in mild steel and will have to do the cut and weld thing, since no body in Graaff-Reinet can bend 3".

Paul, as far as I know the places mentiond in Gauteng dont bend the pipe, they weld in manderal bends.
Bending a 3" pipe actually restricts the flow

Die Trol is op die lift. Hopelik sal dit met 'n 3" exhaust weer af ry van die lift af.

Jy is haastig....lol... hoop jy het n paar flanges waar jy kan los en vas maak daai lang stuk pyp gaan nie speelitjies wees nie .....oja draai somme kla jou eerste stuk pyp toe baie moeilik as dit op die kar is :mytwocents:

Tinus, jy praat van toe draai van die eerste stuk pyp. Wat kan ek gebruik om dit mee toe te draai? Ek sien hy is maar baie naby aan die firewall?

Jip dis hy daai gewoonlik gebruik hulle daai fibre tape sal vir josh vra om n foto te plak :thumbup:

Dis n copper heat wrap. Hy werk baie goed. Ek kan aan my downpipe vat nadat 90km gery het.
