Re: Patrol Spotting
Sies Cedric ....the diesel drivers need to use the 4.8 to feel what real power feels like.....after every tune the jump in the 4.8 just to feel what it must feel like ..... you see helps to have reference point....lol...

Re: Patrol Spotting
Josh... thats your excuse and I guess you are sticking to it hey?
It will be interesting when you have the bakkie running to hear what you say about the responsiveness of the manual diesel against the auto of the 4.8
That diesel I think will surprise you quite a bit !!!
Regards
Cedric

Re: Patrol Spotting
So I am working on a project at work to identify all the 4x4 trails, fitment centers and basically any 4x4 related point of interest across SA and came across this trail in Western Cape called Ou Trekpad. So yes......I spotted some nice GQ's and a Safari on there!
Looks like these guys had loads of fun.
Does anyone know who they are?

Re: Patrol Spotting
Talking about Patrol Spotting. I spotted a very nice white, post 2004 GU, on the N2-Broadway offramp (Stellies) this morning.
I was feeling very miserable. My rental car is ueber-horrible. Seeing the Patrol made my morning, but also rubbed in how terrible it is to be driving around with one's head at chest height. And how the rest of my week will be driving around in this death trap until my project finishes...
