Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hey Lads, saw this troll as i pulled into strand today, the oke was in the spur, left as my boet and i walked in.In the 30sec i had to drool i noticed that this thing is rigged to the max, a real monster. Its got a canopy made by "infanta trailers" , with all sorts of cool stuff bolted and fabricated, 2 spare wheels on the back, Iron man suspension which still only looked like 50mm as he wasn't running adjustable panhard rods and drag links, or radius arms or drop boxes, but,...he did have a set of 35's on 15" wheels, and a pair of extended shackles on the rear, oh, and i noticed the tell tale blue lines running down the axles which spells ARB lockers front and back, nice. I only got time to take a quick snap off my phone, hope he doesn't mind, pity i couldn't have chatted to him, i think he would have been interested in this great forum.

The most interesting part was the "limited edition" badge under the patrol decal on the sides, in all my million searches and reads, i've never seen or read about a limited edition pickup.....

Ps: Stefan, that bumper is a factory fitted item form Nissan , as purchased with the vehicle off the showroom floor, very very strong and takes a winch easliy, i had one on my first patrol (the one that was stolen 4 days later) .

very nice, i just saw the blue piping running to the front axles, must have been your extended breathers then.

2 Questions :

1:How long are your rear shackles from Pin - Pin ? I want to extend mine too.

2:Where did you get those handles/locks from for your canopy, and are you happy with them ? they look very strong. I'm building my canopy as we speak and i need to buy hinges and lock soon.

3:Did you change the gearing in your diffs or do you just forget about 5th gear (as you said in another thread ) ?
