I have (for my sins) a Safari (MQ Patrol) dated 1985 that is powered by a diesel engine (SD33) that was never distributed by Nissan SA.
The Safari in SA, to my knowledge only came out with the L28 Petrol engine.
So you can imagine the response from Nissan SA when you look for engine parts...
In search of a waterpump that will fit this truck (it is starting to spit antifreeze quite badly), I discovered this website: www.ssg.asia
It is a collective site for a range of parts dealers vetted by them. So you still order your part from this one site.
So if you ever run out of options for your rare model, you can try them.

Re: Parts Galore
Very cool, saw very few models under Patrol, but found mine under the Safari models, plenty parts to choose from... Thank you

Re: Parts Galore
Yes, if you use your VIN it is easier, as brand names for the same product sometimes differ in different markets.
