LHS rear tail light

Post by mikethebike »

Hi all
I'm looking for lhs rear tail light for my '98 patrol, the one in the bumper. I boke mine the other day and am leaving for holiday in 4 days time with or without a light but with police like they are I'm woried about being fined.
Nissan said to me they cost over R1000 but they have a 5 day delivery time.
So Are there any other lights that will fit or does anyone have a spare for sale?

Eish Mike

Are there any lights in this unit that are not functional in the lights on the body in your car? If you have working lights for all functions in the body, I would think you could get away by blanking off the bumper lights, but I am not sure about any of this?
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Hi Peter
I have the lights in the body but they are not connected at all except the reverse light on the LHS.
I have seen another trol same as mine with a full set of functional tail lights but I've no idea where he got them. I would like to do the modification and put in a set of proper lights in the body but I'm off on holiday on friday and don't have much time to get sorted, it will have to be a project for next year.
thanks anyway

You can very easily fit bulb holders and do the wiring . If you add indicators you will have to loos the reverse light. In other parts of the world the world you'll find only one res section, our cars generally have 2 red sections and one clear.
