Which radiator coolant to use ?
Which radiator coolant should I use for my 2005 3.0d , I know that the ratio should be a 70% water and 30% coolant.

Re: Which radiator coolant to use ?
I had a bolt shoot into my radiator a few months ago. Silverton Radiators repaired it for me and I bought 6x 1l bottles of their antifreeze. They should know exactly what they are doing, as this is their game. Be aware that there are good and bad antifreezes out there!!!! Some apparently come with high hydrochloric acid or high ammonia contents which eat your block and head without you even realizing. Silverton Radiators sold to me for R60 incl vat/ bottle mix 50/50
just my
just my

Cedric

Also, make sure you don't mix different types.
Flush properly before replacing, and use the manufacturer of the anti-freez's mixing ratios, as they don't all work the same.
