Re: Dummy Light brought to life
Dankie.

Yes I will most definitely not be entertaining a repair. I want piece of mind when I am traveling...especially when it is in remote areas.

Radiator
Hi All My 2006 4.8 has sprung a leak on the radiator (On the top plastic part) and I am going to have to replace it. It started as a very small hole when I was away on holiday over December and I tried to contain it best possible with Steenvas to get home. It has now progressed into a proper leak an...

Re: Diff-lock (vacuum solenoid) problems? - We can help..
Awesome. Thanks Alex. I will surely be making a call tomorrow morning.
I assume I will have to cut the OEM plug to wire in the TT?
Pricing?
By the looks of things it is a well rated product.

Re: Diff-lock (vacuum solenoid) problems? - We can help..
I gave John at PECS a call in CPT and provided him the MAC part number listed earlier in the thread. Apparently they can get it on order 4 - 6 weeks. Not sure if anyone has recently tried to order and if that part number is still valid. R1256 excl. Also not sure if the spec of the part has changed s...

Thanks Phillip
As this is a repair that should be done by the dealer that sold me the vehicle the only compromise I am willing to make is a new aftermarket product. I will ask for the faulty unit and maybe have that reconditioned as a spare.

Hi
I just got a 4.8 and that solenoid is ceased up proper. Are these aftermarket units still available and whom can I contact to get hold of one?
Thanks
Jacques

Re: Interior Trimmers Western Cape
Thanks all. Yes before ripping out the Roofliner I will first visit a professional valet/detailing company to get an opinion on the odds of cleaning the current one. I am convinced if I am going to try and clean it I will end up replacing it  I did get a good reference of a company which I will...
