I don't see the solution for a true African overlander. The patrol Y62 is now all round independent suspension. The Cruiser V8 cannot drink anything more than 50ppm diesel, the Defender is gone and the Jeep Wrangler is all that is left with the 76/79 Cruisers. Somehow I don't buy into Wranglers for ...

A quick question: I have noticed that Nissan SA no longer list the Y61 Patrol on their website. It has the Y61 Pick-up along with the new Y62. Will they no longer supply the Y61 locally?

Has this been the quiet end for the Y61?
