I sort of agree with the posts but, you can experiment by switching on difflock just before that spot and off again after. Not sure about your Patrol, but mine switces off ABS and does NOT engage difflock if not in 4x4. I use this often on very corrugated dirt roads, where ABS can be very annoying. ...

My response here is actually for the LOKKA system only, not hub lockers and maybe off topic, byt here goes: The Cam function and space is so that only side can unlock upon differential torque at a time. There is simply no way that both can unlock. That does mean that 1 wheel can unlock and roll over...

And, it is difficult to find Patrol rear pads agtermarket. Take a pad to Midas, they have a book with 1:1 drawings. Match the pad until you find a close fit. Cant remember but its either Almera or Etude front pads that are the closest. You have to grind off one 5x5mm section. But, being front pads t...

Rear discs endure a lot less pressure and heat as the front. If they are not true or smooth, skim them. The reduced lifetime due to skimming is negligible. BUT, what you do NOT need is a rear wheel locking up under braking due to being uneven etc. Just do the skimming an new pads thing, period....
