Re: O2 Sensor

Is this the MAF sensor ? Or something else ? Where does it fit on the motor ? I have a TB45 lying around at home and will be able to check.

Edit: Did a bit of research, and presume this is the sensor in the exhaust manifold ? If so, apparently generic Bosch part (0258986501) should sort you.

Re: Packing System Build

Wired up charge controllers over the weekend - it is a little messy (I await disparaging comments) but I'll neaten it up when I remove the panels again for carpeting after this trip... The packing system is done, but I am rebuilding my aux electrical system at the moment. I'll post more details on i...

Re: Karoo road trip

I wish I knew why some photos are upside down. I presume the photographs were taken by cell-phone. Cell-phone photos are strange as the image includes the orientation in the "EXIF data". EXIF data being meta data associated with the image. The forum creates a thumbnail when viewing the pa...

National Luna Battery Box and Remote Monitor for Sale

Folks - I've been rebuilding my aux electrical system in the truck with the packing system changes, and now have a superfluous NL battery box and remote available. It works perfectly, but it has a hard life and is slightly modified. Battery box and remote as per attached photographs. Battery and cab...

Re: Packing System Build

Nice. A practical setup! Sorry to hear about your foot! Reminds me.... I was watching the latest upload on youtube of Offcourse 4x4 adventures (Anthony on this forum used to drive on it). Anyway, they banged up this guy's Defender propshaft and didn't get the car to basecamp that night. Then when t...

Packing System Build

I've got a drawer system and a fridge slide in the boot. When I first started on the overlanding type thing, a very large number of trips I did solo and that worked perfectly. However, since Liana, the LF, accompanies me these days. And since wimmin like packing everything including the kitchen sink...

Re: Trip Report - Roof of Africa

Conclusion I've been in Lesotho quite a bit - as mentioned previously. But these occasions have always been either Maseru and surrounds or up and down Sani. On one occasion, after doing business in Maseru, I did decide to drive around a little and exited at Peka Bridge. But this is the first time I...
